چکیده
Abstract Bioinspired from structural coloration of butterfly wing structure, this work aims to fabricate nanoporous chitosan for UVC reflection. By taking advantage self-assembled polystyrene- b -polydimethylsiloxane (PS- -PDMS) with double gyroid texture followed by hydrofluoric acid etching PDMS block, PS well-defined nanochannels can be fabricated, and used as a template templated crosslinking reaction through multiple pore-filling process. Well-ordered shifting networks in nanoscale successfully fabricated after removal the template. With low absorption ultraviolet region opening bandgap, it is appealing exploit nanonetwork high reflective materials optical devices, evidenced finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulation measurements experimentally.

Block copolymers constitute a fascinating set of self-assembled materials exhibiting compositional heterogeneities on the nanometer length scale. While traditionally employed as thermoplastic elastomers, asphalt modifiers, and adhesives, the potential of self-assembled block copolymers for nanotechnological applications has been realized in the past decade and many examples have now appeared in...

We present a feasible approach to the direct development of three-dimensionally (3D) bicontinuous gyroid (GYR) nanostructure in high-molecular-weight, composition-controlled polystyrene-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) (PS-b-PMMA) films. The use of a neutral solvent vapor to elaborately control the swelling of block copolymer (BCP) films is essential to generate a direct pathway to GYR (or giant GYR...

Understanding the relevant permeability properties of ultrafiltration membranes is facilitated by using materials and procedures that allow a high degree of control on morphology and chemical composition. Here we present the first study on diffusion permeability through gyroid nanoporous cross-linked 1,2-polybutadiene (1,2-PB) membranes with uniform pores that, if needed, can be rendered hydrop...

Block copolymer (BCP) self-assembly is a promising route to manufacture functional nanomaterials for applications from nanolithography to optical metamaterials. Self-assembled cubic morphologies cannot, however, be conveniently optically characterized in the lab due to their structural isotropy. Here, the aligned crystallization behavior of a semicrystalline-amorphous polyisoprene-b-polystyrene...

Nanostructures generated from block copolymer self-assembly enable a variety of potential technological applications. In this article we review recent work and the current status of two major emerging applications of block copolymer (BCP) nanostructures: lithography for microelectronics and photovoltaics. We review the progress in BCP lithography in relation to the requirements of the semicondu...
